Since its inception in February 2006, an all volunteer, non-profit Food for Thought has provided more than 370,490 meals to over 2,899 children in Dare County. All funds come from contributions, grants and fundraisers and the tremendous support of over 330 volunteers from 18 organizations and 22 other community partners.

Help feed a child each weekend during the entire school year for $250. Only $7.50 a week.
