Working Together To Fight Hunger in Dare County, North Carolina
The Beach Food Pantry has been serving the residents of Dare County for 25 years. The mission of the Beach Food Pantry, a benevolent non-profit organization, is to provide direct nutritional assistance to Dare County residents in a temporary crisis or emergency situation. We pledge to serve the needy persons in our community to help fight hunger. We are open most weekdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each year, the need for our services has risen and we rely solely on monetary contributions, sponsorships, donations of non-perishable food items, and community food drives to support our mission.Did you know?We serve nearly 15% of Dare County’s population?More than 11% of Dare County residents live in poverty?North Carolina ranks #6 in the nation for food insecurity?It costs $25 to feed a person for a month?It is easy to support the Beach Food Pantry:By donating securely online through the Paypal link on our website beachfoodpantry.org or on our Facebook page:
